The Waldo County Humane Society will hold its first fall rabies clinic at the Knox Town office, Route 137, Knox, on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 to 11 a.m.

The rabies shot is free for animals who’s owners reside in Waldo County. Pets from other counties are welcome, but a small fee will be charged. Please have all animals on leashes or in portable pet carriers.

Dr. LaHaye of the Searsport Veterinary Hospital will administer the rabies shot. In addition to the rabies shots, coupon discounts towards the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered can be picked up at the clinic.

A second clinic will be offered Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Brooks Fire Station. Dr. Sarah Tomalty of Little River Veterinarian Hospital will be the attending veterinarian.
