Irwin, Tardy and Morris is pleased to announce that on Saturday, Sept. 1, Robert W. Weaver, Esq. joined the firm. Weaver is from Belfast and graduated from Belfast Area High School in 2000. He is the son of Larry and Kathy Weaver. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Maine at Orono. Thereafter he spent three years as policy aide to the Minority Leader of the Maine House of Representatives.

In 2011 Robb graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where he earned distinction as Research Editor on the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, co-chair of the Moot Court team, and as a legal writing teaching assistant. Robb also received the Faculty Significant Achievement Award for his excellent academic performance and significant contributions to the law school community.

Robb joins the firm after spending a year as a law clerk to the Honorable Leigh I. Saufley, Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. His practice will emphasize general litigation, appellate work and governmental affairs.
