Maine Authors Publishing & Cooperative of Rockland is among the many artisans and attractions this year at the Common Ground Country Fair Fair, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 21 through 23. A booth near the entrance to the fair will host a variety of authors and include information on self-publishing for all three days. There also will be free giveaways.

From poetry to non-fiction, seafaring tales to farming tales, many genres and authors will be available for discussion and signings. Authors will include Beth Harmon, “Chimney Pond Tales”; Carol Glover, “Loving Hannah”; Deb Gould, “Father is Here … He's Fat as a Pig”; Kendall Merriam, Rockland's inaugural poet laureate, “Light Relaxes into Evening’: George Christy, “I'm Just Sayin'”; Jack O'Mara, “Whitewater Opera”; Kevin Mills, “Breakwater’; John Cobb, “Judith”; and Cedric Berry, “The Hired Man.” Many more authors will be attending.

For anyone interested in self-publishing, there will be brochures available with information on Maine Authors Publishing's products and services. Authors will be available to provide ample insight into printing their books with the independent publisher.
