Law enforcement officials with Troop D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County between Sept. 18 and Sept. 23. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 800-452-4664.

Sept. 18

Trooper Benjamin Sweeney charged Tiffany Wilber, 31, of Bangor with operating while license suspended after stopping her vehicle on School Street in Unity.

Sept. 21

Trooper Bethany Robinson responded to Mount Road in Burnham for a report of a stolen generator. The complainant said she is moving and noticed the generator missing. The incident is still under investigation.

Sept. 22

Police assisted the Warden Service with a deer that was poached on North Palermo Road in Freedom.

Trooper James MacDonald charged Theodore Lawrence, 19, with operating after suspension after stopping his vehicle on Mount View Road in Thorndike for having an expired registration.

Sept. 23

Sweeney charged Benjamin Littlefield, 24, of Montville with criminal speed after clocking Littlefield’s vehicle traveling 93 mph in a 55 mph zone.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
