Judge Susan Longley, running/biking for re-election as Waldo County Judge of Probate, will begin riding her bicycle through coastal communities and going door-to-door to ask citizens for their votes on Election Day, Nov. 6.

Judge Longley’s bike is equipped with signage (for visual ID), a front basket and a rear carrier crate to carry her campaign supplies.

Judge Susan W. Longley won her first election to be Judge of Probate in Waldo County for a four-year term in 2004 and was re-elected in 2008, so this is her third campaign for this office. In addition to her wide-ranging legal experience since the mid-1980s, Susan Longley also served as Maine State Senator for Waldo County from 1994 to 2002, serving as chair on judiciary committees responsible for writing and overseeing Maine’s probate and family law.
