The University of Maine School of Social Work is hosting a series of open houses and welcoming applications for its Masters of Social Work program. Classes are offered on weekends (Friday evening and Saturday morning) in Belfast to accommodate those working traditional schedules. Advanced standing status is available to students with a recent Bachelors of Social Work degree.

The UMaine School of Social Work’s mission is to improve the quality of life for all people through commitment to the professional education of Master’s prepared social workers.

An informational session regarding the 2013 Cohort will be held at the UMaine Hutchinson Center on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Belfast.
