Trevor C. Canning, 30, died Dec. 10 at his residence in Swanville. He was born Oct. 9, 1982, in Belfast, the son of Karen Haber and Glenn Canning. Trevor liked the outdoors — hunting, fishing, golf and snowboarding. He especially loved his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his fiancée Jasmyn, his grandparents Ted and Dot Haber and Wiggy and Muneda Canning. Survivors include his mother Karen Haber of Belmont; his father Glenn Canning of Swanville; his brothers Amos Robbins, A.J. Allenwood of Rockland and B.J. Canning of Swanville; his sisters Shauna Bryant of Belmont and Sara Allenwood of Lincolnville; as well as several aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Trevor’s life will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m. at the Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Donations may be made to the Trevor Canning Scholarship Fund c/o Gary Skigen at BCOPE, 19 Miriam Rd., Belfast, Maine, 04915.
