Arthur Manning Buck Jr., 58, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 13, 2013. He was born in Camden, and grew up in Belmont and Searsmont.

Art graduated from Belfast High School in 1973 and from Philadelphia College Of Bible in 1979. He worked with the physically and mentally challenged in Pennsylvania and Florida. He earned his R.N. license in 1994. He also was trained in copier repair and founded Buck & Buck Office Equipment in Florida.

Art was a devoted man of God and became a pastor in 1995. He was an excellent teacher who loved to help people understand the truths of God's Word and encourage them to walk closer to the Lord.

His goal in life was to bring glory to God.

He enjoyed many things: reading, sailing, metalworking, Civil War re-enacting and traveling.

Art is survived by his wife Linda; children, Arthur III (Heather) and Crystal-Lynn; grandson Demetri; father, Arthur Sr.; sister, Frances (David) Powell; brother-in-law, Francis Middlemore; sisters-in-law, Peggy Middlemore and Winnie (Mike) Wolenter; aunt, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Art was a wonderful husband, a great father and a good friend.

Though we know that this is only a temporary separation, we are comforted in knowing that he is in the presence of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ

Art, we will miss you. Meet you at the east gate.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at the Belmont Cemetery.
