Searsport District High School track-and-field athletes performed well in a Penobscot Valley Athletic Conference meet on Friday, April 26 hosted by Bucksport High School.

The girls team scores were: Bucksport 136, George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill 112, Bangor Christian 54 and Searsport 21.

The boys team scores were: Bangor Christian 107, George Stevens Academy 105, Bucksport 67, Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln 53 and Searsport 12.

The individual SDHS girls results were:

100 meters — 4, Emily Tripp, 14.68; and 13, Cheyanne Stone, 16.43.

200 meters — 3, Tripp, 30.59.

800 meters — 5, Alicen Brooks, 3:21.84; and 6, Stone, 3:24.70.

Triple jump — 1, Tripp, 30-2.75 8.

Discus — 7, Alyssa Burkard, 51-5.
