Donna Lee Jackson-Ingraham, 59, of Knox, Maine, died unexpectedly on Oct. 14, 2013. She was born in Unity, Maine on January 17, 1954 to Roy and Lilla (Perkins) Jackson.

She worked for the town of Oakland for more than 20 years, cleaning the offices and keeping things tidy. She also worked with her husband Willie Ingraham running IJ's Lawn Care. She had such a big heart and would help anyone with anything that they may have asked of her, never saying “no”. Whether it was mowing lawns or dusting under every knickknack, she always had a beautiful smile on her face and a hug to give. She loved nature, especially cardinals and rainbows.

She loved the Maine coast and enjoyed the scenery along the way to the many lighthouse destinations that she visited. Rockland Breakwater and Portland Head Light were among her favorite lighthouses to visit. She loved to spend time in her vegetable garden and would create beautiful flower gardens around the rocks and boulders she and Willie would find around their property or bring home from various job sites. She enjoyed the fall season because it meant it was time to visit the apple orchards. She was fond of all animals particularly her dog Bozco and her cats Clover and Missy.

She is survived by her husband Willie Ingraham; daughter Katina Hubbard and husband Joseph Dickey; sons Edward Hubbard II and wife Diane Cayford and Darren Hubbard; her mother Lilla Jackson; two sisters Denise Jackson and Debbie Nichols and her boyfriend Randy Green; grandchildren Dyln Packard, Brooklyn Hubbard, and Travis Clement; step-grandchildren Jazlyn, Kamara, Landon, Brayden, and Levi; stepdaughter Shannon and husband Kal Keithan; stepson Daimen Ingraham and his fiancé Sarah Anderson; a nephew Dustin; step-niece Heather; and many special family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her father Roy Jackson and a brother Andrew Jackson.

Visitation will be held at the Dirigo Grange Hall in Freedom Tuesday, Oct. 22,  from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Knox Ridge Baptist Church followed by committal at the Knox Ridge Cemetery.
