Emergency crews responded to the report of a one-car rollover accident on Route 141 in Monroe Monday afternoon, Oct. 21, in which police say the driver sustained minor injuries.

Maine State Police Trooper Benjamin Sweeney said police are still investigating how the crash occurred. Sweeney said the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 46-year-old Sean Floyd, of Swanville, was transported by ambulance to Waldo County General Hospital.

"He was out [of the vehicle] when I arrived on scene," said Sweeney of Floyd.

Maine State Police troopers, Monroe firefighters and attendants with the Arthur Jewell Health Center Ambulance Service were at the scene of the crash, which was reported to the Waldo County Regional Communications Center at about 2:30 p.m.

Firefighters slowed traffic as rescue workers cleared the scene, which took about 30 minutes.
