Elizabeth “Libby” L. (Jacobs) Reynolds, 93, of Belfast passed away Oct. 21 at Harbor Hill in Belfast. She was born July 1, 1920 in Sanford, the daughter of Alfred and Sarah (Lessard) Jacobs. Libby was a graduate of Sanford High School and went on to work in the mills there. She met her soul mate and husband, William D. They particularly loved spending time with family and friends. She was also a talented seamstress and knitter. Her love of life was also expressed in her involvement in dancing, singing on stage in local talent shows and, in recent years, all of the activities at Harbor Hill. She will be missed for her sense of fun, her deep appreciation of animals and nature, and her zest for life.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband; son William D. Reynolds Jr.; four sisters Rosie, Zela, Valerie and Kathleen; and a brother Alfred.

She is survived by her loving daughter Rebecca Reynolds and her daughter-in-love Carmen Knox of Swanville; grandchildren Michael, Cheryl, and their mother Pauline; great-grandchildren Michael Jr., Michelle, Carly, Ashley, Paul; and dog Mimi.
