Mary Vellaro Thompson went to be with the Lord on Dec. 3. She was surrounded by her husband, children, family and friends.

Mary was born in Jersey City, N.J., Dec. 5, 1950. She attended and graduated from Dickerson High School. She later moved to Maine, married and had three sons, Randy, Eric and Vincent Bryant. She is survived by her husband “Butch” Thompson; her son Randy Bryant and his sons Trever and Jayce; her son Eric Bryant, his wife Brenda, their daughter Shiann and her daughter Selena; her sons Vincent Bryant and John Thompson; her daughter Rayna Thompson and her three stepchildren Henry Thompson, John Thompson and Jamie Goldstrom; her brother Billy and his wife Mary of Pennsylvania; her sisters Judy and her husband Mike of Iowa, Nancy York and her children of Belfast, Barbara Watts and her children of Maine, Shiley Machinski, her husband Lenny and their children of Maine, Jane Nealey, her husband Harold and her children of Maine; many other nieces and nephews with a special mention of her friends “Ronnie” Lord, Cheryl, Tonya and Glenda.
