Lincolnville Board of Selectmen approved a contract with Town Administrator David Kinney through June 30, 2016, at its meeting Monday, Dec. 30.

In a phone interview, Kinney said he anticipates a performance review in late winter.

The Board heard from residents who requested that the town plow sidewalks and on-street parking at Lincolnville Beach during the winter. While there is no money budgeted for those services this year, they asked Kinney to look into the cost of the maintenance for next year. The public parking lot at the Beach is already plowed, Kinney said.

In addition, the Board decided to add town meeting warrants to the list of information available by email to anyone who signs up via the town's website. Other information that can be requested includes beach advisory notices, Board of Selectmen agendas, emergency notices, employment opportunities, Planning Board agendas and requests for proposals.
