Natalie Rae (Bonsey) Hess, 83, died Monday, Jan. 20, at a Belfast hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Eastbrook the daughter of Claude L. and Rena M. (Wilbur) Bonsey.

Natalie grew up in Surry, and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1948. She spent most of her life living in Searsport. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Searsport. She is survived by three sons Carl A. Hess and wife Deborah of Mass., Melvin S. Hess and wife Cathy of N.C. and Gregory J. Hess and wife Elizabeth of Va.; five grandchildren Matthew, Kyle, Amanda, Tyler and Samuel; one great granddaughter; one brother Osmond Bonsey and wife Ann of Surry. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by here husband Ernest R. Hess Jr. in 1982.

Visitation for family and friends was Jan. 25 at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main Street, Searsport with Rev. Deborah Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the spring in Gordon Cemetery, Searsport.
