Seaward Burlington Heal, 64, passed away Feb. 19, 2014. He was born at Camden Community Hospital on May 10, 1949, the son of Maynard and Flora Heal.

Seaward was a “Jack of all trades.” He had great knowledge of mechanics and spent most of his life working in garages. He worked for Rosie Gerry from 1990 to the end of his career restoring many old-fashioned vehicles.

Surviving are three daughters, Amanda Bonin and her husband Chuck of Monroe, Shona Long and her husband Jarred of Cushing, and Melissa Magnant of North Haven; two sons, Tom Thomas of Waldo and Chris Thomas of Belfast; seven grandchildren, Janice, Alex, Jurt, Kade, Imma, Miranda and Kevin; two great-grandchildren; several nephews; one niece; and many cousins.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held from 1-3 p.m. March 1 at the American Legion Hall in Belfast. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
