Team strengths: Pitching and infield defense.

Team goals: To improve every day, build for the future and hopefully be in the running for a playoff spot.

Top league opponents: Valley of Bingham, Buckfield and Richmond.

Outlook: The Vikings graduated key players from last year's team which helped Searsport qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2008. Now the Vikings hope the four returning starters from last year's team can help lead an overall young team to the postseason in the team's first run in Western Class D.
