The Belfast boys and girls track-and-field teams participated in the Waterville Relays on Thursday, April 24, and even which saw the Purple Panthers more than adequately defend their home turf.

The Waterville squads prevailed in convincing fashion, though the Belfast boys had a strong showing as they placed second and the only participant other than the hosts that eclipsed 100 points.

The Lion girls earned a sixth-place finish.
