On Wednesday, June 18, from 4:30 pm to 6:30, “Consider the Conversation,” a documentary on end-of-life issues will be shown at Harbor Hill, 2 Footbridge Road, in Belfast. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion.
While most people agree that it’s important to talk about your end-of-life care and to put your wishes in writing, less than 25 percent of the population has done so.
“Consider the Conversation” is designed to help people begin the conversation about their wishes for end of life care.
Advance directives give individuals control over the healthcare they receive and the ability to name an individual to speak for them if they cannot speak for themselves. Advance directive materials will be available at the showing.
There will be light snacks provided.
Send questions/comments to the editors.
