Waterfall Arts, 256 High St., will present a facilitated dialogue and forum titled Women Tell the Truth: Living in Our Bodies on Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m. The forum, related to the “Living in these Bodies” exhibit currently showing in the Clifford Gallery, is designed as an opportunity to hear and share thoughts, feelings and experiences about life in a female body.

Four local women, ranging in age from late teens to 82, will participate in the panel; audience participation is welcome and encouraged. Martha Piscuskas, Waterfall Arts Program director, will be the forum’s moderator. She said that as humans, we experience our world through our bodies — through our senses, our brains — and we each have a presence that interacts with other people and places.

“Our bodies are our transport, our vessels, and our portals. The art exhibit … depicts various ways women occupy cultural and physical space. The live panel is meant to elaborate on these in all the richness of life experiences — physical, emotional, psychological,” she said.

Admission to the forum is by donation at the door. “Living in these Bodies” can be visited Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment. The exhibit and related events are sponsored by Revision Energy, City Drawers, Coyote Moon, Sea Horse Stables and WERU. For more information, visit waterfallarts.org or call 338-2222.
