Law enforcement officials with Troop D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County between June 30 and July 6. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 800-452-4664.

July 6

Sgt. Patrick Hood investigated a suspected impaired driver leaving Knights Pond in Northport. Cameron Philbrook, 30, was arrested for violating his bail conditions and taken to the Waldo County Jail.

July 4

Trooper Bethany Robinson and Trooper Thomas Bureau responded to a report of an assault in Frankfort. An investigation determined Jacob Mcintire, 23, assaulted his girlfriend. Mcintire was summoned for domestic violence assault, terrorizing, criminal mischief, criminal attempt, violating conditional release, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a usable amount of marijuana. Mcintire was taken to the Waldo County Jail.

Police responded to Dickey Hill Road in Monroe for a report of an assault. Joseph Tripp, 20, of Monroe, was summoned for assault.

July 3

Trooper Donald Webber received a report of two vehicle burglaries in the area of the Mount Waldo quarry in Frankfort. Numerous items were reported stolen and the incidents are still under investigation.

July 1

Trooper Desiree Wuthenow received a report of a sex offense that occurred in Winterport. The case was forwarded to the Major Crime Unit and an investigation is pending with the Waldo County Sheriff's Office.

June 30

Trooper Wuthenow, with assistance from Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock and Waldo County Sheriff's deputies, pursued a vehicle on Route 137 in Knox. The vehicle was stopped on Route 137 in Waldo and the driver, Marcy Marriner, 32, showed signs of impairment. Marriner was charged with operating under the influence, driving to endanger, failure to stop, attaching false plates and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
