Sweet Tree Arts is a satellite location for Lesley University's Masters in Education Integrating the Arts across the curriculum and will hold an information meeting about the program Saturday, June 19, at noon.

This program is appropriate for classroom teachers K-12 and also specialists, but one does do not need to be an art teacher or artist to attend. The program uses the arts to support learning styles and personalities, meeting the needs of many individuals in your classroom.

Graduate students engage in visual arts, storytelling, media arts, poetry, movement, drama and music throughout the program. All classes meet at Sweet Tree Arts in Hope, with visiting faculty from Lesley University. Students are accepted to the graduate program through application through Lesley University.

Once accepted, students will be a part of a cohort group that will follow the program for 22 months, meeting one weekend a month. Lesley University is currently accepting applications for the next cohort group starting in spring 2015. The $50 application fee is waived for those attending the information session.

For more information, call Lindsay Pinchbeck at 763-2770 or visit sweettreearts.org. Another information session is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. Those who wish to attend a session should RSVP to sweettreearts@gmail.com.
