Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following recent activity.

July 19

Brooke McDonald, 29, of Ellsworth, failure to register a motor vehicle.

July 16

Melanie Tufo, 31, of Fall River, Mass., failure to stop at a stop sign.

July 15

Jacob A. Levangie, 19, of Belfast, alleged speed 49 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye issued a reminder that children should be secured in child safety seats depending on age, height and weight, or be wearing a seat-belt when riding in a vehicle.
