Police responded to a two-vehicle crash shortly after 8 a.m. Maria Connors, 26, of Searsport, was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry towards Searsport from Stockton Springs when her vehicle collided with the rear driver's side tire of a 2010 International box truck driven by 39-year-old Todd Karejewski of Gardiner.
Connors' Camry was totaled in the crash and Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye said the box truck sustained about $500 in damage to the tire and rim. Connors was taken to Waldo County Hospital where she was treated and released after complaining of pain in her arm. The crash is still under investigation.
