The Stockton Springs Historical Society and Stockton Springs Community Library are collaborating to present a Pies & Art Festival Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Colcord House at the corner of Main and Station streets. The Colcord House is the home of both the historical society and the library, and the money raised through the event will go into the heating/building fund.

There will be a wide variety of homemade pies available for purchase, donated by volunteers from the Historical Society and the Library. Artists participating will include members of the painting group that meets weekly at the Colcord House and other local artists. Artists participating in the fundraiser include Asha Fenn, Judy Hamm, Cathy Melio, Scott Moore, Patty O’Connell, Betty Schopmeyer, Harriet Seekins, Anne Spencer, Joe Swift, Anne Marie Welsh and others.

Everyone is invited to come to the Pie and Art Festival and support two worthy Stockton Springs organizations.
