Artists featured in the current exhibition, “Living in these Bodies, Part II” will speak about their work Thursday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m. at Waterfall Arts, 256 High St. The exhibition, on display through Aug. 30, highlights work by female artists that captures complex aspects of women's physical and social experiences. Admission to the talk is by donation at the door.

“The Future Mothers Tent,” Elizabeth Jabar and Colleen Kinsella’s collaborative piece in the exhibit, is an actual tent, printed all over with images of women, many from the Middle East. Lorena Salcedo-Watson contributes large charcoal, watercolor and ink drawings to the exhibit; Lesia Sochor offers sewing-inspired narratives on canvas; and Debra Olin uses her body as part of the printmaking process.

The “Living in these Bodies, Part II” exhibit and related events are generously sponsored by Revision Energy, Coyote Moon, City Drawers and Seahorse Stables; media sponsor is WERU. Waterfall Arts gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.; and by appointment. For details and complete schedule, visit
