The Marsh River Theater will present one of America's best known and favorite plays, “Our Town,” with a twist: the production will be done in radio show format with the actors dressed in period clothes in the “WMRT Radio Studio.”

The one-weekend-only runs offers performances Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22 and 23, at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2:30 p.m. at Marsh River Theatre, 24 Monroe Highway/Route 139.

For those who remember sitting by the console radio and enjoying broadcasts of live shows, this will be a nostalgic journey. And others who want to experience what their parents or grandparents had for a night's entertainment are invited to time-travel back to the 1940s.

Tickets are $10, $8 for senior citizens and children younger than 12. For more information and to reserve tickets, call 722-4110.
