The Barn Window, an antique shop located in Troy on Route 202, is a new destination for antique hunters, collectors and the curious.

Displayed inside a large, old two-story barn are tools, signs, art, furniture and every vintage and useful thing you might imagine.

There’s an old school room with toys and a driver's ed car that your children can play in while you browse. Old farm tools, wagon wheels, rockers, stools, cupboards, glassware and lamps are some of the items for sale. A museum area has natural curiosities. Two swings hang in the center aisle. Yes, they also sell windows.

The route to this shop is a pleasant countryside ride.

“The Barn Window” is located at 1077 Bangor Road in Troy.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store is closed on Wednesdays and open by appointment on Sundays.
