Law enforcement officials with Troop D of the Maine State Police responded to the following incidents in Waldo County Aug. 19 and Aug. 22. Anyone with information regarding ongoing investigations is asked to call 800-452-4664.
Aug. 22
Sgt. Patrick Hood stopped Jacob Weeks, 29, of Lincolnville on Route 52 in Camden after Weeks was seen speeding as he came up behind the unmarked state police cruiser. Weeks was summoned for criminal speed and released.
Aug. 19
Sgt. Hood responded to Vancycle Road in Lincolnville for a report of suspicious activity near the Ararat farm stand. Two female employees of the farm reported seeing a male on a black Harley Davidson-style motorcycle make several passes through the area as the women were walking from the stand back to the farm.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
