Mount View High School is hosting a number of college-related events during the month of November.

Over the course of the month students will have the opportunity to participate in “on-the-spot” admission, for which they can sign up a time in Guidance.

Aspire Higher — does my essay have what's required?

Nervous about your college essay? Not sure if you interpreted the prompt the right way? Have you read, reread and re-reread your essay until you can repeat it from memory? Wishing a college official could take a look at your essay before you send it away? Within three academic days, a college official from Unity College, University of Maine or Husson University will take a look at your essay and provide feedback and you'll receive an email back. The window of opportunity to take advantage of this service will be Nov. 1 to Nov. 21. More information on how to participate to be announced.

Aspire Higher Friday Attire

Students and staff are invited to show their school/military spirit each Friday in November. One item of clothing earns you one ticket in a drawing for cool prizes.

Aspire Higher Extended Guidance Hours

Having a hard time connecting with your counselor during your busy school day? Ms. Converse and Ms. Marin will offer extended guidance hours each Thursday in November from 3 to 5 p.m. (and later by appointment if needed). Open to parents and students. We can help with questions, applications, scholarships, etc. Parents should call 568-4605 to make an appointment.
