Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County is looking for a family to be a partner in the construction of its third home. The home will be built next year in Monroe.

An informational meeting will take place Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. at Monroe Elementary School.

To be eligible for a Habitat home, you must:

– Be a Waldo County resident

– Meet the income guidelines based on family size, for example, $16,250 to $43,350 for a family of four

– Be able to pay back the cost of the home with a no-interest mortgage

– Be willing to perform volunteer labor in the construction of your home

– Participate in Habitat volunteer activities

– Attend training on owning a home
