David Scott Norton will play Saturday, May 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Andy’s Brew Pub at The Lobster Pound, Route 1.

Norton is a singer of old-time, honky-tonk country music. He was born in Bangor and learned to love old- time country music from his father, David Harold Norton of Ringgold, Ga.

Norton performs and networks with local musicians wherever his travels take him. He has played in New York City, Nashville and Boston; Orlando, Fla.; Dayton, Ohio and more. He recently recorded an EP in Los Angeles that includes performances by prominent contributors to the vibrant country music scene found in and around Hollywood.

Also playing Andy’s Brew Pub this week is Alice Limoges, locally raised singer/songwriter and recording artist, Thursday, May 28, from 7 to 9 p.m.
