HeartSong will make a presentation Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at Carver Memorial Library, 12 Union St., Searsport.

HeartSong is a community-based volunteer chorus that offers songs of comfort and peace for the infirm and ill, the dying, their families and caregivers. Music is selected to be sensitive to the physical and emotional state of the patient and to suit his or her musical and spiritual preferences. HeartSong “sings” offer comfort and healing in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and hospice settings in the greater Belfast area.

Members of HeartSong will share its mission; songs of ease and gentleness surrounding death; and songs of the joy of living. All are invited to share in this presentation, with a special invitation to those who have experienced loss in the past year.
