Belfast Breeze Inn, LLC, formerly the Penobscot Bay Inn, is opening up to offer more than lodging. Beginning the last week of May, there will be live local music several times a week in Phil’s Lounge, as well as full supper shows and the occasional cooking class.

On Friday, May 29, Phil Clement will be playing jazz guitar from 4 to 8 p.m. There is no cover charge and no reservations required; coffee and desserts will be available.

On Saturday night, May 30, the Half Moon Jug Band will play during a dinner from Pig Out BBQ. Doors will open at 4 p.m., and the dinner show runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets or reservations by calling Belfast Breeze Inn, 505-5231. Those who catch the BBQ bug have the opportunity to take a class with the Pig Out BBQ chefs Thursday, June 4; make reservations as above.

On Sunday, May 31, local jazzmen Clement and Lincoln Blake will perform during a High Tea Buffet. There are two sittings, at 4 and 6 p.m. Tickets are required; see above.

On June 2, Portland jazz pianist Tom Snow will play for a Tuesday Supper Club show from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are required; see above.

On Wednesday, June 3, there will be an Open Mic Night. Clement will play from 4 to 6 p.m., and the open mic runs from 6 to 8 p.m. There is no cover charge and no reservations required; small plates, beverages and desserts will be available.
