What do two snowplow drivers with destructive streaks, a 30-something dabbling in speed-dating and a woman at war with her farm have in common? They are all characters in the “Lunar Datebook” podcast produced by Jenny Tibbetts of Jackson. She will share some of the podcasts Maine Stories and Moon Musings Wednesday, June 10, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Abbott Room of Belfast Free Library, 106 High St.

The free presentation celebrating the one-year anniversary of “Lunar Datebook” also will address podcasting, and dessert and coffee will be offered. Tibbetts’ podcast features Waldo County-centered short fiction and All-Things-Considered. Her stories are “12 percent fiction,” always recognizable, often funny and at times touching. Tibbetts channels the same voices that populate her skits from “A New Vaudeville Revue” in her podcast. New episodes are produced each New and Full Moon and may be heard online anytime at lunardatebook.com. For more information, email mail@lunardatebook.com.
