Film buffs Karen Gleeson and Paul Sheridan will present another month of indie, foreign and documentary films Fridays at 7 p.m., June 5 through 19, in the Abbott Room of Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. June’s theme is Fathers.

The month’s series begins June 5 with "700 Sundays” (2014, USA-TV), which runs 118 minutes. Legendary comedian and actor Billy Crystal tells stories about his time with his father, growing up in the jazz world of Manhattan as a teenager. The Tony Award-winning show is a funny and poignant exploration of family and fate, loving and loss. This evening will be introduced by Eddie Adelman, a passionate Billy Crystal fan.

Admission is free for Friday Night Flicks. Upcoming this month are: June 12, "Incendies" (2010, Canada/France); and "In a World…" (2013, USA). There will be no screening June 26, due to the Friends of the Library book sale.
