Fellows, Kee, Tymoczko & Pierson of Bucksport has hired attorney Christina S. Lewis of Belfast.

For the past few years Lewis has been practicing law in Hampden with McCue Law offices. She earned her B.A. in philosophy at New College of Florida and graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law. In law school she interned with a U.S. District Court magistrate and with the Alachua County attorney.

After law school she joined her husband in his hometown of Belfast, where they now live with their daughter.

Lewis was admitted to the Maine Bar in 2010 and since then has specialized in real estate and Social Security law. She will be practicing in these areas as well as small business formation. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, District of Maine, and she is authorized to represent claimants before the Social Security Administration.

Attorney Christina Perkins is no longer practicing with the firm and is opening an office in Ellsworth.
