Lincolnville artist Petra Noyes will have a solo show in the West Gallery of River Arts on Route 1, opening with a 5 to 7 p.m. reception Friday, June 19, and continuing through July 1. The opening reception coincides with the monthly Damariscotta/Newcastle art walk.

The show features some of Noyes’ favorite pieces from the past 10 years. They include mixed media based on digitally altered vintage photos; and digital collages printed on various media using a pigment archival large-scale inkjet printer.

Noyes been doing this since 1962 in one fashion or another and has exhibited throughout the Northeast for more than 50 years. Her work is in numerous private collections and a number or corporate collections including Marriott Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
