Belfast Maskers and Marsh River Theater have joined forces for “On Broadway,” a touring show of songs from the heart of the American theater. Included are selections from “West Side Story,” “wicked,” My Fair Lady” and more.

The production is accompanied by musical director John Cameron. Judi Erickson, Mike Switzer and Randy Nichols share artistic direction. The tour will open Wednesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. (note that some posters have incorrect time) at Northport’s Bayside Community Hall, 813 Shore Road in Bayside. Tickets for the Centennial Celebration event are $15, $10 for those younger than 19.

“On Broadway” will continue Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Marsh River Theater, 24 Monroe Highway/Route 139 in Brooks. The final performance of “On Broadway” will be a Sunday matinee June 28 at 2 p.m. at Belfast’s First Church UCC, in the second-floor Parish Hall off Court Street. Tickets at the door at both venues will be $12, $10 for senior citizens and students.

One and all are invited to come out and treat themselves to some memorable music, as these two long-lived local theater groups band together to offer selections from the American Broadway stage, performed an all-ages cast of 20 singers. For more information, visit belfastmaskers.com.
