Cold Comfort Theater, in conjunction with the City of Belfast Department of Parks & Recreation, will present a spirited performance of song and dance to celebrate America’s birthday and honor its servicemen and –women Saturday, July 4, at noon.

The free show will take place in the city’s newest park — Park on Main, downtown between Rollie’s and County Copy.

Songs from 1800s to the current era will be presented live in a heartwarming and sentimental homage to our country. Everyone is invited to drive up, walk down, bring a seat and sing along with such familiar tunes as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “America the Beautiful,” “This Land is Your Land” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

“Happy Birthday America!” is a one-performance-only production, presented at no charge and geared for all ages. For more information, visit coldcomforttheater.com.
