Hannaford is recalling its Nature's Place bottled water after E. coli bacteria was found in one of the company's spring sources.

The E. coli bacteria was found in the water June 10. E. coli bacteria can cause nausea, vomiting, cramping and diarrhea. Symptoms of E. coli infection usually begin with three to four days after exposure but can begin as soon as one day afterward to more than a week later, according to the Mayo Clinic website.

Hannaford said customers should not drink the water and return the product to any store for a full refund.

The Nature's Place bottled water being recalled has code numbers beginning with "A" or "H" and best by dates of Dec. 8, 2016 through Dec. 16, 2016.
