Belfast Summer Nights continues Thursday, July 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the waterfront Steamboat Landing, at the foot of Commercial Street. Perennial favorite the Bel-Isle Jazz Quartet will perform, as will singer/songwriter and art educator Bridget Matros. Rain location is the Belfast Boathouse.

While Bel-Isle is no stranger to the series or the area, the lineup has changed a bit. The “new” Bel-Isle Quartet features David Clarke on guitar, Wayne Delano on sax/flute, Ezra Rugg on bass and Jeff Densmore on drums.

Everyone is invited to bring dancing shoes, lawn chairs and picnic suppers. Donations are welcome. The series continues every Thursday night through August, with different artists and locations each week. For more information, call 322-7123 and check out the Facebook page.
