A discussion and performance titled Music of the Batchelder Orchestra about fiddlemaking and dancing in Frankfort will take place Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Frankfort Congregational Church, 1 Main St./Route 1A.

Everyone is invited to join fiddler Emeline Dehn-Reynolds and pianist Peter Yarensky for a discussion and performance of the rich history of fiddling, contra dancing, violin making and traditional music in Frankfort. The event will feature fiddles made by Alvah Batchelder and Edwin Batchelder of Frankfort.
