“Reflections of the Windows in the Cemetery,” a free 200th Anniversary Celebration event open to the public, will be offered Saturday, July 18, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Harbor Church, 318 E. Main St./Route 1, across from Bowditch Cemetery.

Attendees will “meet” the people memorialized in the church’s American opalescent stained glass windows; hear the Waterspout Story of tragedy at sea; and visit graves of forbears that continue to inspire by their faith and love. A living history embodiment of 19th-century sea Captain Benjamin Franklin Pendleton will join members of the First Congregational Church for this unforgettable trip back in time.

After the program, the church's summer-long exhibition will be open for viewing until 4 p.m.
