The annual Rockport Fine Craft Show returns to the air-conditioned Samoset Resort, 22 Warrenton St., Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday. July 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is an invitational show whose craftsmen have been chosen from Maine’s best, many of whom have been accepted to exhibit at prestigious national shows such as the Smithsonian Craft Show, the Philadelphia Museum Craft Show and the Baltimore American Craft Council Show. Lisa Svedberg and Thomas Whiting of Lincolnville are among the Midcoast craftsmen who will be exhibiting at the show.

The Rockport Fine Craft Show is designed for quality and diversity of craft including jewelry, clothing, furniture, blown glass, pottery, woven rugs, lighting with handpainted silk shades, cutlery, quilts, home accessories and more. The Samoset Resort is located just five minutes from downtown Rockland and admission is $6, free for children younger than 16.
