“Broken Bridges,” a new play by Laura Emack that will be performed this fall on Prospect History Day, will get a “cold” staged reading Saturday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at the Prospect Community Center, intersection of routes 1A and 174, followed by a talkback session at 3 p.m.

Actors from the surrounding community will read the principal roles; attendees may be asked to read bit-part roles, as well as provide critical feedback. “Broken Bridges” tells a truth-inspired story set in Prospect in 1958.

This event is free, and all are welcome. For more information, contact Emack at 567-3437 or LKECPA@prexar.com.
