Belfast Summer Nights continues Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the downtown corner of Main and High streets. Families are invited to bring dancing shoes, lawn chairs and picnic suppers; no dogs are permitted in the concert area.

This week’s evening offers local favorite Willy Kelly, performing his blend of neo-traditional folk/blues with
longtime friend and musical partner Joe Allard on bass. These days, Kelly is drawing heavily on his extensive repertoire of original music and an eclectic mix of covers, and the two will blend acoustic instruments and vocal harmonies. Also performing is Positive People, led by Chris Poulin of Lincolnville.

The series continues every Thursday night through August, with different artists and locations each week. For more information, call 322-7123 and check out the Facebook page.
