Veterans Benefits Officer Conrad Edwards, along with Kathryn Kreamer, aging and disability resource counselor at Spectrum Generations, will team up to present new information on how the Affordable Care Act and Veteran's Administration and Medicare benefits work together.

The Veterans Administration encourages all veterans to enroll in Medicare Part B (outpatient medical coverage) when they turn 65 for better coverage. Also to be discussed are money-saving benefit programs that can help pay for some of those costs.

The presentation will be at Spectrum Generations Waldo Community Center, 18 Merriam Road, Belfast, on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 1 to 2 p.m. Space is limited to 10 people, so interested veterans are asked to register by Tuesday, Sept. 1. Those who require special accommodations are asked to advise planners by Wednesday, Aug. 19, by calling 338-1190.
