Maine Senate President Michael Thibodeau, R-Waldo, recently announced Constituent Services Director Dorothy Havey will meet with constituents every Wednesday in Waldo County by appointment.

Havey is available to visit with residents throughout the county but will mostly be based in the greater Belfast area.

Before joining Thibodeau’s staff, Havey served as executive director of Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce and held management positions with several nonprofits including Owls Head Transportation Museum, Farnsworth Art Museum, Institute for Global Ethics and Penobscot Marine Museum.

“I spend time back home every Wednesday to stay connected with what's happening locally and assist Sen. Thibodeau in serving the folks of Waldo County,” Havey said.

Thibodeau said, “Dorothy Havey is an invaluable resource for the people of Waldo County. Her knowledge of the area and its history runs deep, and I am pleased she will be with me in the district regularly to speak with people about their concerns. We meet with local businesses and constituents who want their voices to be heard in Augusta. Whether it is a policy matter or someone needing help navigating the state bureaucracy, we want to help.”
