Belfast Creative Coalition’s Fourth Fridays Art Walks continue Aug. 28 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., offering opening receptions, open doors and art-driven activities inside and out.

At the corner of Main and High streets, dynamic vocal ensemble Brio will perform, and local mime and musician Scot Cannon will be entertaining all around downtown.

Waterfall Arts invites anyone, of any age, inspired to make some art of his or her own to stop by the white tent on lower Main Street between 5:30 and 7 p.m. All are welcome to join in the free fun.

Art educator Bridget Matros runs the tent and has created  Looking at Art Together, a guide to looking at art as a family and how to get the most out of the experience. There also will be art by kids displayed in some of the storefront businesses on Main Street during the Art Walk, all thanks to support from the Quimby Family Foundation.

Although the art walk season continues into the fall, Aug. 28 will be the new Finch Gallery’s last for the year. Upcoming Fourth Fridays Art Walk dates for 2015 are Sept. 25, Oct. 23 and a Holiday Art Walk on Dec. 4. For more information, visit belfastcreativecoalition.org.
